VAUGHAN, May 28, 2013 -- The first set of Ontario Cup Preliminary Round Tournaments wrapped up this past weekend in the Under 13 Boys and Girls Divisions. The Men's Division also finished up their Preliminary Round, with one game being played between Welland Youngs Insurance and Scarboro Azzurri.
In the Men's game Scarboro Azzurri defeated Welland to advance to the First Round.

In the Under 13 Boys Division there were five Preliminary Round Tournaments. The Winner from each Preliminary Round, as well as two Wild Cards, will move on to the Tournament Round. In the Under 13 Girls Division there was just one Preliminary Round Tournament, with the first, second, and third place teams moving on to the Tournament Round.

Next weekend on June 8-9 the Ontario Cup really gets going with 19 First Round Men's games being played. Also scheduled for that weekend is the Under 18 Boys Second Round, as well as the Tournament Round for Under 15 Boys Tier 1 and Under 15 Girls.
